binding removal
Question
lisa, i have a pair of essmatic, 310em v.a.r. bindings that i want to remove from the skies they are on. i can't seem to get to the fastening screws to remove them. any suggestions? thanks bert
Answer
Hi William and thanks for the question.
There is a small plate covering the binding screws.
I think the plate release was near the toe [if not look near the heel].
it will be [from memory] something you will squeeze and then slide the plate off.
Keep fiddling with it. I did fond some info online when i googled the binding
"ESS has taken a different approach to control with its Essmatic V,A,R,512 ($249). The binding is mounted on a track; by pushing a button, the skier can scoot the entire binding a half-inch forward from center, for quicker turn initiation, or a half-inch back, for greater stability at speed and better flotation in powder.[http://outside.away.com/outside/magazine/1195/11r_upd.html]
