Remz or Xsjado?
Question
Hi I've been skating for around 1 and a half years and am about to purchase some new blades but i cant decide between remz or xsjado and i was wondering if you could help. Im into street and park skating. I've notice that remz are much more expensive compared to xsjado. Is this price increase worth it? I currently have Rollerblade TRS Alphas - also, i want to sell those, where would be the best place to do so or is there no point? (they're not messed up but a little worn down)
Thanks in advance
Answer
Emkay,
The reason the remz is pricey is that a lot is built into the boot. It is an agressive skate with a frame & small wheels that lend themselves to grinding &/or dancing - they are not meant to be a recreational skate. I never heard of xsjado & neither have my buddies in all the skate shops here in the Big Apple - & I did call them all. My best advice to you is go for fit - try different brands - Rollerblade - Solomon - K2 - to see which skate fits your foot & budget the best - stay with a metal frame as opposed to plastic & look for ABEC 5 or 7 bearings & you'll be ahead of the game. I hope this helps.
