The Key Roller Skating Rink

I want to know if the Key Skating Center is closed down.

Sorry to say Skate Key was the first of the big 3 (Skate Key, Roxy & Empire) to close. Next was the Roxy - their final party was March 9th it was also my birthday party - some birthday present!!! I expect the Roxy will re-open after Easter, you can take that to the bank! Empire is slated to close at the end of April.
The new skate party is Wed. nights at Webster Hall - 125 E. 11th St. it's small but great music & a dedicated group of good skaters. Admission is $15 & we skate from 8:00PM till 2:00AM. Bizarre just when skating is coming back strong we are losing our rinks.
Remember though, the Central Park Dance Skaters season starts April 7th on Skaters Road - every Sat & Sun from 2:00 till 7:00 with a rotation of the best Djs in the city. Be there or be you know what!!
