Buying Quad skates for artistic roller skating in NYC

Hi, Pat.

I would like to ask you if you know a shop in Manhattan where I can get quad skates for my daughter.  She is 7 and she is taking classes.  We are from Argentina and we'll be visiting NYC in July 2012, and thought it would be a good chance to get a good pair for her.

Hi Max,
    Because I'm not from NY I can't recommend a particular store.  My suggestion would be to find a local roller rink.  A lot of the rink stock skates and may have her size.  Sometimes you can find quad skates in sporting stores also.

    If your daughter is already taking skating lessons in Argentina, does that roller rink sell skates?  If so, that would be the ideal place to buy them.  If they don't stock them, I would imagine they have catalogs that you could order from.

    I'm sorry I couldn't be more help but if you are set on buying them while visiting NY, I could visit the local roller rink to see what they suggest and have in stock.
