OLLIE NORTH/MANUEL PROBLEM
Question
SUP, THIS IS ROBERT PATTEN AGAIN. I JUST GOT A 7.5 ELEMENT SKATEBAORD. I LOVE IT!! ANYWAY I WANTED TO TRY A OLLIE NORTH SO I WENT AND TRIED IT IN THE GRASS FIRST. BUT WHEN I SLID MY FRONT FOOT FORWARD AND OVER THE BOARD MY BOARD FLIPED SO I LANDED ON THE GRAPHIC SIDE INSTAED OF THE GRIPTAPE SIDE. I DON'T REALLY NO HOW TO DO IT BUT JUST WANDERED IF YOU COULD TELL ME HOW TO DO IT AND WHERE TO PLACE MY FEET ON THE DECK. AND ONE OTHER THING REAL QUICK. I CAN DO AN OK MANUEL BUT IS THERE ANY TIPS THAT YOU COULD GIVE ME TO HELP ME HAVE BETTER AND LONGER MANUELS. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!! FROM: ROBERT PATTEN.
Answer
I dont know much about ollie norths, because theyre not a real famous trick, but when i do occasionally do them, i jump forward(towards the nose). This way its easier to get my front foot over the nose. I am also not the best manualer unless i ollie up ledges and manual them. But you need to make sure your feet are confortable when you manual.
And dude, keep practising and asking me questions. Sorry it took me so long to answer, I havent been on the comp lately, i have been skating obviously. lol, have fun!
POP-SHUVITS AND BONELESS!!
