pop shovits
Question
i'm 15 years old and i just started riding about 3 or 4 weeks ago, i'm alright at ollieing and all that so i'm workin on doing pop shovits mainly right now and i cant seem to land it, i dont know if i got the correct stance on the board or not,my front foot is about on the middle of the board and my backfoot is on the lower part of the tail and i ollie up and kick my backfoot back and the board spins around but it always goes to much in back of me so i cannot land it, how do i get the board to stay directly under my feet so i can land the trick?please help.

Answer
Practice with just a deck on carpet, until you get the board spinning underneath you. Or concentrate on using a "pop" like an ollie to get the board in the air and then do the spin - since the board will be in the air it will stay under you - plus it just looks a whole lot cooler when you can pop it cleanly and catch it rather than just slapping it around. Much more difficult, but much more impressive.
