Interarms Model .22 A.T.D.
Question
Hi, my name's Cody and I'm trying to find some information on a rifle I have. The barrel markings read "Interarms Alex., VA. Model .22 A.T.D." and "Cal. .22L.R. Norinco-China"
Do you know any information on when the gun may have been made or how much it may be worth, if anything? I'm having a hard time finding any information on Interarms. I've inferred from this forum that the company has went under recently. Any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer
Hi

They new for $300 and used for $150-200
Interarms is an importer of weapons only.
(International Armaments corp)
They did not make it.
Yes Interarms is out of business in the USA for commercial arms.
It is still is involved in the military arms business.
It was made by Norinco in China http://www.norinco.com.cn/en/frame.html
They have been banned from doing business in the USA for two years, because Norinco sold parts for ballistic missiles to the Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group, an Iranian producer of medium and long-range missiles.

Norinco quality is iffy at best.
Parts if needed can be Gunparts Corp.
