Cost of shotgun

Hi
I just inherited a Remington 1400 Ranger shotgun that was used for skeet shotting and looks like new. Anyone know what it is worth and its list price when new?

I think that might be Winchester and not a Remington.
Model 1400 is is semi automatic shotgun that was in production from 1965 to 1994. The Ranger label means is has
the less expensive wood and metal finish.
Depending on Gauge and exact condition its worth $200 to $300
used. Its a nice shooting gun I happen to own one.
Also which barrel is on it, the choke system and gauge would make a differnce as well. I would need complete information
including the first 4 numbers of the serial to estimate its cost when new.
