I have a Deutsche Werke 1S Werkerfurt 6.35mm automatic. The wooden grips need to be replaced. Got any ideas?

That one might be tough. You may do well to contact custom grip makers found on line. Failing that, someone skilled in woodwork might be able to rough out a set that will work. Failing that, you may just need to keep an eye out for antique parts at gun shows.

Well, the Internet was less helpful than I expected. Fortunately, I found a good list of custom grip makers in an old Guns & Ammo annual (now I have an answer for when my girlfriend asks me why I insist on keeping several-years-old back issues hanging around).

As all my guns wear either factory or Hogue grips, I can't claim to be familiar at all with any of these guys, but here is the list; at least one of these folks should be able to help you out.
