Automatic Handgun

Is there a handgun manufacturer that makes an automatic .44 magnum or .50 caliber besides the Desert Eagle. I'm mainly looking for something cheaper than a $1300 Desert Eagle. Thanks for your time!

The short answer is, yes as follows..........

AMT Auto Mag, 44 AutoMag, and the LAR Grizzly in 50AE. For each there is a "story" complete with good points and bad.

For example the Grizzly is not currently in production as far as I know. That of course does not mean that one can't be located.

Also there are various functioning problems with each pistol. The Desert Eagle however, seems to have the fewest.

All of these will set you back quite a bit, so I think that you would be defeating your purpose going that route.

Why not just opt for a 44mag. revolver? There plenty of great ones on the market at much better prices than the semi-autos. Further, in my opinion they are much more reliable too. Just a thought for you to consider.

Now that you are armed with this info, you should be able to conduct some internet searches and find out additional details concerning each pistol.
