your opinion about laser sights?

I'm kinda new on handgun shooting, 70 years of age, trifocals.....would mostly use the laser in home, especially nite time....thanks

Normally I would not recommend a laser sight because you can't see the beam if you're off target when there is no background nearby.  But in the house, it should be ok and could be your best choice if you have trouble to see the front sight.  Another possibility is a "red dot" sight, but the laser will be probably easier for you to see.

There may be a gun shop near you which could let you try one before buying it.
