Bullet slippage
Question
I am reloading many hunting loads with Sierra Game King and Nosler Partition without crimping because there is no crimping groove.
I have no problem so far,but I am wondering what I should do for big guns
with heavy recoil (300 win.mag,338 win.mag).Sould I use the Lee factory crimp,or leave it like that without crimping and take the chance that the bullet might jump under the recoil.
Thank you

Answer
As a reloader myself, I ALWAYS put a little crimp on heavy loads because the bullet will definitly move forward and or backwards under heavy recoil and that can and will cause a jam when trying to breach a new round in the chamber.
