ranger 101.3 shotgun 20 gauge

just inherited this very nice well taken care of gun and would like to know any information you can tell me. it is a bolt action. no other names markings are noticed. is there an approximate date and value on this gun. its been neatly tucked away for many years.

Hello Melinda,

The Ranger was made by Stevens for Sears Store. In the Stevens line of shotguns it was a model 237. I cannot tell you the exact year of manufacture. However, Sears stopped retailing guns in 1980.

Your gun in "good" condition is worth approximately $100
