I have 2 older Savage rifles in excellent condition and am wondering about the possible value.  One is a .300 Savage, Model 99S and the other is a Savage .22 highpower, model 99H takedown.

The Savage .300 in "good" condition has a retail value of $400 to $500.

The Savage Highpower in "good" condition a retail value of about $600.

The answer is most often yes. However, it would depend upon wether it is factory engraving, what grade of engraving, or if it is after market engraving. etc.
