Taurus PT 24/7 .45

I have just bought a used Taurus PT 24/7 .45.I have heard some good and bad things about them.Could you please give me any input you might have on this gun,thanks.

Taurus is quite proud of its 24/7 - if you look at their website, I think you can still find a video that shows a shooter with it breaking the world record for speed.

The most rugged guns you are going to get will be Glock, SIG, HK, which is why they are so commonly used by the police and USG. Remember, though, those guns often see a lot of abuse. A personally owned firearm is often much better cared for.

All that to say I think the Taurus is a good value for the money.  If you had more to spend, I might have looked at another gun, but if you like it and it fits your hand well, it should be accurate, reliable, and rugged enough for anything you'll do with it.

You're already purchased it, right?  So relax and enjoy.
