stevens 311a 20 gauge shotgun
Question
I just inherited my grandfathers Stevens 311A 20 gauge shotgun. It has the insignia "12F" in a circle on the underside of the gun. It is a very clean looking gun with no defects and fires perfectly. I am very proud to have my grandfathers gun. Do you know when it was made and the value of this shotgun?
Thanks so much for the info
Answer
Scott,
I believe that your Stevens M311-A was manufactured in 1954 based upon the "circle code 12F". If the firearm is in "Very-Good" to "Exc." condition it would have an approximate retail value of between $450 and $525.
Thank you for the question Scott.
