value of my sig sauer p225

I have just acquired a sig sauer p225 in excelent condition that was made in 1980. I was hoping you could give me a rough estimate of what you thought it was worth. Ill take any other information on the the gun your willing to give. thanks

The Sig P225 is very similar to their model P220 other than it is chambered for the  9mm cartridge. It is a compact pistol which has a 8 shot magazine and adjustable sights. The finish is matt blue, K-Kote, or electroless nickle plate with black plastic grips. The overall length is approximately 7". The pistol weighs in at about 26oz. and is no longer in production.

The P225 in "good" condition has an approximate retail value of $400 to $450.
