browning over and under pigeon grade
Question
i am looking at an over and under pigeon grade browning. my question is; it has the holes in the barrels so i know it isnt very old. i am pretty sure it is a citori. under the foreare it is black and says pigeon grade in gold. how do i tell what year it was manufactured and how much is it worth. thanks rob
Answer
Rob,
To find out what year the shotgun was made, look at the Browning.com web page. They have a section entitled "Date My Firearm". The two letters in the serial number will be needed.
As far as a value, I cannot answer that question because I don't keep up with the newer model Brownings. I would look at the Blue Book of Gun Values. It is a general source for values. Hope this helps.
