Browning Renaissance 22. 380 & 9mm
Question
Through a Browning historian I have identified my Browning Hi-Power Renaissance as one that originally belonged to a set of three. Somewhere out there are a 22. & 380 with matching serial numbers to mine. It will be no easy task, for sure. How should I begin to search for such items? If they were for sale I may be interested in acquiring them.
Answer
Jamie,
A needle in a hay stack unfortunately. It can be done. I have a consecutive set of pistols I put together 7 years apart that are 45 years old.
From time to time you see them these on gun websites. You might consider joining the Browning Collectors Association. It is a great resource for Browning information and you might see them come up for sale in their free classified ads. Otherwise, stay on the internet to try to locate the pistols (assuming they come up for sale). Best of luck.
