Sears Model 53 30.06
Question
QUESTION: I have a Sears 30.06 Model 53 with adjustable trigger. Number 1, how do I adjust the trigger?
Number 2, who made this rifle for Sears?
Thank you,
Dennis Waid
ANSWER: This rifle is a Winchester Model 70 made for Sears.
If its the orginial trigger it can be tweaked by a gunsmith,
but would not be adjustable.
If it has an adjustable trigger its not orginal.

QUESTION: Thank you for your reply, but I do not understand this statement you made:
"If yours is pre 1964 you one finish bolt gun ever made." Would you please clarify? I do believe mine is a pre-1964.
Thank you,
Dennis Waid
ANSWER: Winchester's model 70 made before 1964 design changes was considered one of the finest rifles ever made.
They are highly desired.
The ones made after 1964 were not as good.
