ROSSI .357 REVOLVER

I just got a used Rossi .357Mag. revolver, 4" bbl.
It doesn't even have a model # stamped on it. It was imported by Interarms. Is this a decent .357Mag.? Since it's imported by Interarms(out of business?) I won't be covered by BrazTech(Rossi) lifetime warranty, right?

Hi Bob,

As I'm sure you can guess, "decent" is subjective and depends on what we may be comparing it to.

I can tell you in my general opinion a Rossi is worth what you paid for it. They are not generally a high dollar gun but are functional non the less. They are usually not of tight manufacturing tolerances and the metal polishing is of lower quality as is the finish.

In general the Rossi line is considered to be an inexpensive utility grade firearm that is designed/priced for an entry level market. In this regard and consideration I believe that Rossi has succeeded.

As for any warranty, in my 2008 Rossi Co. information there "Lifetime" revolver warranty extends to "any firearm manufactured or distributed by Braztech". I do not have knowledge of all of their "terms and conditions" however it would seem to me that you may very likely be covered by the warranty.

One additional bit of info that will no doubt effect their covering your revolver or not under their "lifetime warranty" is the requirement ... "the repair policy applies to revolvers mfg. by Rossi AND imported by Braztech International L.C." if your revolver is stamped "Braztech Int'l L.C. Miami, FL USA" you should be covered.
