Eddie,

If your shots are closer range, try using either an improved or modified choke.  If they are flying high, you would want to use a full choke.  Be warned, if you use a full choke at relatively close ranges the shot pattern is tight enough that the birds will go 'poof' in a cloud of feathers.

Modified is probably the best overall if you have to pick one...
