Ithaca Rifles
Question
QUESTION: I have a model LSA 55 rifle how much would it be worth today if it is in good condition
ANSWER: Dennis,
I am trying get away from answering value questions as there are too many variables to consider without actually seeing the gun.
Based on the 'Blue Book' values, your LSA 55's value can range from $275 in 80% condition to around $375 in 98% condition. Any gun at 98% is basically in nearly new condition. Most guns that have been used but reasonably well cared for are in 80-90%. You could probably get between $275 and $300 for your gun.
Hope this helps you out...

QUESTION: Doug,
I understand your hesitation for answering questions of value, I no longer hunt and I have a friend who would like to buy some guns from me. I think I will probably sell the Ithaca to him for 250.00. I also have a Winchester semi auto Model 100 .308 would it be worth about the same? Both of them have scopes on them as well. I can't thank you enough for your help.

Answer
Dennis,
Your Winchester's value can range between $250 in 80% condition to $400 in 95% condition. A gun in 90% condition would be worth around $300. The scopes could add between $50 and $75 to the value depending on the quality of the scope.
Hope this helps you out...
