Question
I Want To Inquire On How Much A Sears & Roebuck J.C. Higgins Model # 10125 Bolt Action .410 Tube Load From Top Like A .22 Rifle That Takes A 2 1/2" & 3" Shell
Answer
Greg,
It is difficult to give accurate pricing info since I have no idea what the condition of your gun is. Valuation is highly depending on the condition of the finish on the barrel, receiver and stock, whether the gun has been modified, whether it is in working condition, if it has any corrosion anywhere, including inside the barrel.
JC Higgins was a 'house brand' for Sears that was actually made by another company. Your particular gun is either a Stevens 39A or 59A depending on when it was manufactured. The Model 39A was made between 1938 and 1945, while the 59A continued from the late 40s to mid 50s.
From what I have able to determine from my research, something in the $100-$150 range is reasonable, depending on the condition of the gun. Some guns stores will ask more, but for a .410 bolt action, $150 should be about the maximum if it is in really good shape...
Hope this helps you out....
