.410 shotgun

i found a nice .410 new england pardner shotgun at a pawn shop good price. it being christmas i gave it to my son in law to give to my grnadson at his discrection he the grandson is 10 yr old. i wanted to know some info on this weapon but cannot seem to find the correct web site. Its a pardner model.410 youth shotgun new england firearms s/n 363993 where can i find info on this particular weapon? its a great little gun but when an where was it first purchased an who bought it was there a defect? or problem?
none i can find but i would like to verfiy what i belive to be a great little gun. it is just buyer beware feeling.

I don't know of any way to trace that particular serial number. If it is used in a crime, the police can trace the serial number to find out the dealer and to whom the dealer sold it, but the trace system is not available to the general public.
