Springfield  J. Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls,Mass U S A  Model 15   22cal short,long,long rifle.    Single shot,
Barrel is round 22" long. No butt plate one piece stock. the gun is in good used condition but it is missing an ejector.

Hello Milt. GUN SMITH ALERT !!! Do not shoot this rifle again until you have it checked completely by a competent licensed gun smith. The Model 15 was manufactured by the Savage Arms Corp and marketed under the name of the original owner J.Stevens Arms Company from 1937 through 1940 when the name changed to ' Stevens'. If you are looking for parts, try Numrich at www.e-gunparts.com or Bob's Gun Parts at www.gunparts.com.. The value on a Model 15 in Very Good condition is around $100.00. Parts for your gun are not expensive since there were several thousand manufactured between 1937 and 1971. Parts from the Stevens models after 1940 are basically the same.
