Do I Need to register

Hi,  I bought a couple guns at a show and I've been told that I need to register them if I will be traveling with them.(ex. going to the range, Driving late in a bad area
) What do I need to do.

You don't mention what state you live in.

There is no federal law that requires registration, and in fact it is explicitly illegal for the federal govn't to keep a registry of firearms. Some states, such as MI require the registration of handguns (in violation of the law I might add).

Most states abide by the law and have no registry of guns, there are only a few that you need to worry about it in. Your best bet would be to go to your local gun store and ask them. They will be familiar with the laws of your state and locale.
