airsoft pistols.

Hello I'm a teenager from Stamford CT. I am about to buy an airsoft pistol but I'm getting mixed results on black pistols being illegal. I really like one type but when i try to get it on sports authourity.com it says it isn't sold in or shipped to conneticut and a few other states. Can you please tell me if its legal or not.

There is no specific legislation that I am aware of that prohibits airsoft in CT.  In many cities and towns there are restrictions on where you can use an airsoft or BB gun.   I'm not sure what the specific policies of Sports Authority are in this regard, but it may just be their policy to not ship into CT.

I think your best bet is to find an airsoft store in your area and speak with them about availability of certain types of airsoft guns and the local laws regarding airsoft.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but this is not a big area of expertise for me.  I tend to stick to 'real' guns vs. airsoft.
