The Judge
Question
QUESTION: Can you shoot any .45 cal in the judge handgun, and all so can you shoot .45 cal in a 410 shotgun?
Thanks
Roger
ANSWER: Yes, the Taurus handgun known as "The Judge" was designed to shoot .410 shotshells and .45 Colt solid projectile.
No, you cannot shoot a .45 Colt or any single projectile (except for a slug cartridge designed for a shotgun) out of any shotgun. The relative thinness of the barrel, the design of the forcing cone, and a number of other factors would contribute to a catastrophic failure (read "blow-up")if a cartridge designed for a rifle or pistol was fired out of a shotgun.

Answer
I don't know what you mean by "regular 45 cal" since there is no cartridge with that designation. According to the Taurus website, Taurus makes a number of guns that designed to fire both .410 shot shells (some of the3" variety) and .45 Colt.
.45 Colt is the designation for the Colt revolver cartridge introduced in 1872 and for which the 1873 "Peacemaker" became famous. Sometimes called the ".45 Long Colt" to distinguish it from other .45 revolver cartridges, and not to be confused with the .45 ACP for auto-pistols, the .45 Colt and an overall length of 1.6" and a rim diameter of .512"
The .45 Colt is the only cartridge that can be used in the Taurus family of pistols chambered for .410 / .45.
