ANSWER: Hello Gary. Here are just a few companies that deal in ammo. The 7.63/.30 mauser ammo is available , but shipping to Canada may be a problem. I guess you can ask them when you make contact. "GUNSMITH ALERT" There is much discussion of using other caliber ammo in your C96. Mostly the use of 7.62Tokarev. DO NOT USE IT IN YOUR C96! QUESTION: Hello Charles, Thanks very much for your prompt response. I haven't finished going through all of the dealers yet but, so far, the Fiocchi 7.62 Russian Nagant appears to be the most available (but backordered) as well as the Tokarev which you warned me about. I would appreciate your opinion on the Nagant.The main criticism seems to be its price; $31.99 for 50 rounds. Thanks again, Gary

Hello Gary. I have found the original 7.63mauser ammo at www.grafs.com It is available for $33.59 per 50 round box. I highly recommend that you us only this cartridge ,since it was developed for the C96. You can't go wrong this way. I hope this will help answer your question and thank you again for asking for me.
