Daisy Models C and 103 bb gun
Question
I've been given a Daisy Model C and a Daisy Model 103 bb gun. The Model C has a wooden stock. The Model 103 has a plastic stock. Can you help me with the history and approxiamate worth of these items?
Answer
Sounds like you have your hands on some nice bb guns. The Daisy model 103 was only made for 2 years, from 1912-1914. There were actually two variations one was single shot and the other was a repeater.
The repeater version sold new in 1912 for a whopping .75 cents. Today it is worth between 100 and 500 dollars depending on how good of shape it is in.
The Single Shot version sold new in 1912 for .55 cents. Today the same gun is worth between 100 and 400 dollars.
I can't help you on the Daisy Model 103, it appears this model was made over a period of 30-40 years from the 30's up to the 70's. There should be a Letter followed by a number marked on your gun. If not, it was made before 1972.
