QUESTION: I quess I should of ask the question, Did Davidson make a quality shotgun. I haven't been able to find information on the company on the internet.
Answer
Davis Firearms did like alot of the companies back in the day, they had a company oversea's to make the guns and they imported them in. Sometimes they used several different manufacturers, depending on who could give them the lowest price. I have heard nothing bad about the guns other then they are cheaper made weapons. Under normal circumstances the guns made then should hold up just fine. I would get a gunsmith to still check out the gun, a mechanical failure could cost you your life or eye sight.
