6.5/55mm rifle

I've just purchased an older 6.5/55mm rifle but i can't see the maker of the rifle. I do have the serial number. How do i look this gun up?

You will have to take the gun into a reputable gunsmith or gun dealer to have them check it out for you. You could always take a picture of it and join some firearms forums and ask around as to what kind of gun it is. You won't be able to look the gun up using just the serial number. Best of luck.
