Dickson Falcon 12Ga
Question
Sir,
I bought a Dickson Falcon side by side 12 ga. It is marked " 3" CHAMBERS-MAGNUM " number 3502. Gun is engraved, looks hand carved but not 100% sure. Bought is because its the only side by side i have come upon in the shows under 500.00. Wondering the age, date of production, value range, any info you have. Thank you for your time and service,
J Galone
Answer
Joseph,
These guns are considered "Trade" guns, imported into the US from Spain. They were made in Spain by a company named Zabala, and then imported into the US and sold at various chain stores. They produced and sold various versions of shotguns, some with carvings, engravings, gold triggers etc. Some of these guns are worth 600-800 dollars and some are worth 200-300 dollars. I have no idea what year these guns were made, most of these import guns are impossible to date because of the sheer volume of guns and the different number of places that they went to.
Best of luck!
Chris
