browning 22 cal. grade 1
Question
Hi Jim, I have a browning 22 semi auto with a Browning scope. This was purchased in 1965 as a kit. I can not find any info on the scope. Can you help?
Answer
Bill,
I've forgotten most of what I knew about the Browning scopes, but will try to help. Browning had two companies making scopes for them. I believe, weaver and redfield. The sure way to know which company made the scope you have is to look to see if it has a serial number on the scope. I don't remember which company put the numbers on theirs, but I think it was redfield. You most likely have a four power. In mint condition, they usually bring $125-$150. Hope this helps.
