Answer
Hello Tammy Rivenbark.
Your shotgun was manufactured by one of many independent gun makers in ST. Etienne, France. The makers name would be L.F.RORUR. 'ACIER SPECIAL' refers to the process used in the making of the steel for the barrel. I would agree that it was manufactured before WWll, but I cannot point out a year. Any shotgun made in St. Etienne, France should be of value, especially to a 'Double-Gun' collector. If you plan on shooting it, make sure a competent licensed gunsmith OK's it first.
I hope this will help and thank you for asking for me. Charles Gage
