Dating Iver Johnson Shotgun

Considering purchase of an Iver Johnson 12 GA Single Shotgun. Serial number 14019B. I would like to know when it was manufactured and other info such as model #, barrel choke, and if it is suitable to shoot slugs.

Hello Russell.
  I can answer your questions, but I need more information. These guns are not listed by serial numbers, only. I need all markings such as names and patent dates and where they are marked on barrel and receiver. Does it have the original butt plate, or has the stock been cut? What is the length of the barrel?
