i have one of the first stevens marksman 22 it was my great great grandfather who went on the oregon trail as a kid it has two 14s on it i would like to know who muck its worth,it is in amazing conditon. thank you

I can only give you an approximate value since I cannot inspect the piece or do not have detailed photos.
The Stevens Marksman was made between 1912 and 1933 and was a typical boy's .22 single shot rifle during the period of manufacture.
In 98% condition, these rifles might bring between $400 to $450. In 95% condition, the value would drop from $330 to $350. The difference in condition is the key. If the rifle looks like it is basically new, we can call it 98%. If it shows signs of normal wear, but is extremely well maintained with finish and bluing intact as well as being fully operational, I'd probably put it at 95%.
If there is any wear on the finish of either the wood or metal surfaces, we are probably talking about a value of around $250...perhaps more if a collector is excited about it.
