410 shotgun ID

Question
My grandmother got a "blackbird" gun (410-12mm choke "NEWPORT" "MODEL WN" single shot shotgun, sn: A516075).  I'm trying to find information on where she may have got it, what year it was made and by whom, and how much choke it may have?  Can you help?  
Here is some info I have been able to find thus far:  H&D Folsum Arms Co., Crescent Firearms, Ruger, and SEARS Robuck and/or Wards may have manufactured or sold these firearms under the "NEWPORT" name.  It is at least 50 years old.  It was purchased in Washington or Nebraska.

Hello Ken.
  First, your Newport Model WN shotgun was not manufactured by Ruger. Also, Sears & Roebuck and Montgomery Wards did not manufacture firearms, but rather had major manufactures put their names on firearms, to sell exclusively through their catalogue stores. There were many other  hardware stored who may have had this model Newport WN stamped for sale through their store. There is much conflicting information on this, but the WN model most likely was manufactured by the Crescent Firearms Company between 1920- 1940. This, however, is only an educated guess, since I have not found any pictures on line to make a comparison. A .410 would have had a full choke, and a value of from $50-$100, according to condition.
