Shotgun Age

Question
I have recently acquired a single shot 12 guage, 2 3/4" full that belonged to my grandfather and was trying to get appox age on it.

Hello Bob Inman.
  F.I.E. company was an import agency for many foreign manufactured firearms for many years. Some say it goes back as far as 1926. But your shotgun is not one of those. The SB was manufactured by the Brazil Cartridge Company after 1968. This company sold to C.B.C. in early 1990's. I hope this helps. Charles Gage
