22 bore performance

Thank you for the response.

The basic question is if a 22 bore rimfire will travel 300 yards, what accuracy or grouping will I get, what will have to be the inclination of the barrell-- if I am making a custom barrel, could you suggest a length and twist.

.22 rimfire extreme range is 1 mile.
However, Its accuracy is being streched at 100 yards.
Its optimal at 50 yards. You will not be able to reliably
hit targets at 300 yards. Centerfire .22 caliber rounds like .223 Rem can reliably hit targets 300 to 600 yards away with heavier bullets, 60 grains or more. Wind drift is still  an issue with longer ranges.
