Question
Hi Dave, I am considered to be a decent handgun shot, above ave. according to freinds, but have recently began grouping out to the right,as well as less consistant groups, especially with 1911 45 ACP's. My revolver shooting-S&W 27-357 mag., hs been better, but now also is starting to slip. I am left handed/ambidextrous with left master eye. I have never had any formal training, and have been looking for some "back to the basics" advice or literature on what to do. Thanks, Joe
Answer
Other than having a trainer to watch and give you pointers, the next best thing is to run a video tape of your shooting. Then play it back and see what you are doing at the point the shot breaks. Apparently, you are moving the gun as you are firing it. You can see what you are doing in the videotape and then work on correcting it.
Hope this helps!
