Italian 12 guage o/u shotgun

Question
Hi Eric,
I have a fairly old 12 guage o/u shotgun, but am having difficulties trying to identify the model, age etc of it.
Stamped on the barrels is "Acciaio Breda B4", and what looks like "C.V. Maucculi - Made In Italy"
I have contacted Breda, but they say it's not one of theirs as the "Acciaio Breda" just means the gun was made with Breda steel.
Is this a make you have heard of before?
Any info or advice much appreciated.
Regards,
Tony.
Answer
Hi Tony,
You have a shotgun made and imported in the late 80's andby FIE in Florida (went bankrupt in 1990)... condition they can go for $200 - $350 depending on grade.(list price for NEW was $350)
There is not much reference to Armi Maroccini (the manufacturer)that I can find. Maroccini guns were made by Brescia. Now Brescia is not a maker. It is a city in Italy where there many makers. One of these is Brescia Armas.
Thanks,
Eric
