Sears Model 21 20GA shotgun

I recently purchased a used Sears Model 21 20 GA 583.2079 for my son.  Can you give me any information as to how old it might be?  I have found out that it's made by Hi Standard but I hit dead ends from there.

I believe that your Sears M-21 was indeed manufactured by High Standard. Further, in the High Standard version it was known as the "Flight King" model and was manufactured between 1960 and 1966.

In "good" condition the approximate retail value would be $125 to $150.
