Question
This is the number found on the barrell B313874 BB. There is a symbol that I cant make out what it is, and there is a C with another symbol over the top of it. It says its a MARKX on the other side, the stock has a large thumbhole in it, not sure that it matters. There is another number on it that is 1290 and is located right beside the bolt handle. It has a sightless barrell.

My husband owns this gun, I read one of your posts to a question and it answered part of mine about Interarms, Alex.,Va. That also is on the gun. Can you tell me anything more?
-----Answer-----
Hi Vicki,
I probably can but I would need the rest of the marking on the rifle. Model name or number. Place of manufacture etc. Everything but the serial number.

Answer
Hi.
The Mark X rifles were based on the Mauser design and made in Yugoslavia. They were faily good quality but not particulary valuable. There were 4 variations.
Viscount, Lightwieght, Mini, & American Field.
Barrels ranged from 20" to 24". There were 3 shot and 5 shot models. Some had wood stocks others man made. In US Dollars they are worth $300 and $125.
depending on condition.
