Recently my son has purchased a Montana 45 Pistol # on it are: 3901/5 # on barrel is S164
Hawes Firearms Company
JP Sauer & Sohn West Germany
Can you give us an approximate value of the gun.

The Montana Marshal version is but one of about a half dozen western styled series revolvers made for Hawes on the Colt Single Action Army and were manufactured by J.P. Sauer.

The Montana in "good" condition has an approximate retail value of $125.
