Sears 54 (Winchester 94 clone)

Trying to figure out the year my Sears 54 30/30 lever gun was manufactured. S/n: 20890

Do you have a resource for researching this?

They are are Wincherster 94's made by Winchester for Sears.  There were a few variations of the 54 listed below. I do not have serial number reference for the house brands. Serial number 20890 was in to 1895 for Winchester 94. These type of cat. numbers was not in use by Sears till
late 1950's. These were serial numbered seperately.
I do have and do not know where to get a house brand serial number reference. Since house branded guns are not collectable there not a lot resources for them.


Sears 54 Model 273.53214 is the Winchester model NM 94.
Sears 54 Model 273.53419 is the Winchester model NM 94.
Sears 54 Model 273.81 is the Winchester model NM 94.
Sears 54 Model 273.811 is the Winchester model NM 94.
Sears 54 Model 273.2120 is the Winchester model NM 94.
