cant find what kind of gun this is

i have a old 16 Ga pump shotgun with the word ranger in big print on the side.. it is a model 30. on the top of the action there is a square hole on the top of the gun. the back of the action is square not curved like a new shotgun but like one of the old ones that are square at the back of the action...ive did as much reaserch on it as i can and still havent founf out what kind of gun it is so if you could it would be greatly appriciatedbut if not i put some effort into it....thank you

Hello Todd, Your Ranger Shotgun was a Brand Name sold by
Sears Roebuck & Co. between 1920 and 1950. Sears guns were
made by the major manufactures such as Savage Stevens,
Marlin and others.The one you have was most likely  made by Stevens, It has the look of the old Hump-Back Browning.
