worth of my shotgun.

Question
My dad gave me his Remington 16g. pump shot gun I tracked down the year it was made but can't find out what the value of the gun?

Answer
Ralph,

Remington made several pump (slide) action shotguns with the most famous/popular being the Remington Model 870 and all of its variations. I'm guessing that since your Dad gave it to you that it would be one of shotguns made by Remington between 1950 and 1963.

If indeed it happens to be a standard grade Remington 870 Wingmaster and is in "good" condition, it would have an approximate retail value of $200 - $225

If it happens to a model other than the above (you did not mention model number) just advise me of what it actually is and we'll go from there.

Thanks for the question Ralph.
