My father has given me a double barrel shotgun I was wondering the history and maybe a value.

Answer
You gun was a utility grade shotgun.
They are hammerless boxlock design.
They were made from 1912 to 1932
They no way to get an exact date on it.
They worth between $525 (Mint condition)
and $200 in poor condition.
Average ones are worth about $350
Values have been rising rapidly on American made doubles.
